Why Cartoon Network Has Become The Teen Titans GO! Channel?

Teen Titans GO! follows the wacky antics of Jump City's crime fighters Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy whom together form the form the Teen Titans. If anything, this series is considered the behind the scenes to everyone's lovable heroes.

As seen this past decade, the variety on Cartoon Network has declined massively to the point that some channels such as BBC Brit had adopted a similar identity for viewers and trust me things only worsen from that point.

Cartoon Network viewership wise or at least overseas has seen massive declines probably due to the amount of variety the channel can incorporate on a yearly basis and the fact that HBO Max can do a better job supplying their current offering alongside past content.

Insidus Games:
- Transformers
- Pink Panther: Pinkadelic Pursuit
- Looney Tunes
- The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go!

I can't say Teen Titans GO! is entirely to blame for the brand's dismal selection if anything it's probably the only show that can keep primetime afloat as you have other shows like Craig Of The Creek, Looney Tunes Cartoons and We Baby Bears that could take a year to supply fresh batch of episodes.

While you have other shows such as Mao Mao, Heroes Of Pure Heart where viewers have to wait almost two years for new episodes then surprise surprise it has been shelved never to be seen or mentioned again with some of Cartoon Network's offering going through a similar route.

As far as Teen Titans GO! is concerned I'm not holding my breath and expecting them to distance themselves from that show. If anything, it's become a gold mine to Warner Bros., fact is some find it annoying and while others find it disrespectful to the early 00s Teen Titans.

Now before anyone can praise the original series, just know the comic has more superheroes that have been used in the show and aren't considered Teen Titan. As far as the negative comments go, Teen Titans GO! basically proved everyone's point and rubbed their butts all over it.

Regular Nick:
- Boomerang to go dark on the DStv platform next month
- March on Cartoonito
Lego Monkie Kid returns this April on Cartoon Network
Cartoonito to get a dedicated channel in France
Da Vinci Kids plans co-viewing future

If you want to see less Teen Titans GO! on Cartoon Network, my best recommendation would be HBO Max as everyone is at peace at that point if you want Victor & Valentino, Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa the door is right there while others can enjoy endless hours of Teen Titans GO!.

New Channel Alert (Rumour): SuperSport Schools To Get A Dedicated Channel On The DStv Platform

In 2021, SuperSport acquired a majority stake in School Sports Live, a YouTube channel that livestreams and provides highlights and profiles of school sports across South Africa which lead to the introduction of SuperSport Schools.

Since it's acquisition, SuperSport Schools has become a multimedia platform for the SuperSport brand broadcasting live on YouTube or the app of the same name. SuperSport has even used supplied most of their content to the ever growing Variety 4 channel.

In an interview on whether or not SuperSport had planned to give the brand a linear channel as seen with WWE Channel. The folks behind SuperSport Schools felt that most audiences would prefer viewing the content from where it currently resides.

Of course that doesn't mean MultiChoice won't think otherwise as seen these past years several channels such as WildEarth, Moonbug Kids and Curiosity are all based on online brands with SuperSport Schools looking to join the trio of channels.

As seen this past week, MultiChoice has been conducting tests on the possible channel for the brand featuring shows like 50+ Years Of Sports, Spirit Of Yachting, The Outdoor Sports Show, The Greatest Of All Time, Arena Sports and several others.

Taking to account this is a sports channel branded for children is it possible that maybe it will be allocated on channel 300. I mean the last channel KTV died decades ago and MultiChoice hasn't been doing much on that area but it's possible they'll put on channel 216.

Warner Bros. Discovery hinting at a possible rebrand to Boomerang as more preschool content fills the lineup

As for packages, SuperSport Schools operated several pop-up channels through the DStv app each of them were tailor made for Easyview. As of right now, not sure if that's the case for the this version as MultiChoice has a history of doing otherwise.

All in all, Easyview doesn't have a sports channel perhaps as a news channel SuperSport Blitz but other than that you have SABC. Making all the more sense to include another sports channel even if it doesn't happen to be SuperSport Schools.

MultiChoice has made a lot of improvements with Easyview last year following the rollout of Magic Showcase, CineMagic and BBC UKTV on the already existing Real Time, TNT and PBS Kids putting them in a somewhat better position with rivals Openview.

As the channel number is concerned, the pop-up channel occupied channels 247/8 but seeing as those were OTT numbers. My guess it will probably occupy channel 216 or seeing this is a youth channel sit alongside Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

But honestly I think it would make sense having it closer to SuperSport as not a lot of adults even browse those sections as seen with Mzansi Magic or Africa Magic for starters and 216/7 seems ideal as 218 and 219 are technically used for ESPN.

Ratings for DStv from December 2022

I'm guessing Access customers are probably relived should this the channel exist as more sports comes to the package joining the already available Racing240 alongside SuperSport brands Blitz and Variety 4 which has been carrying a lot of SuperSport Schools.

As for whether Variety 4 will stop supplying SuperSport Schools that has yet to be seen I can see them keep it as several SuperSport channels still air WWE but considering how much content would be available I'm guessing the hours will be reduced if not scrapped.

SuperSport Variety 4 in other countries have been airing it's fair share of football I think that should be something SuperSport should be looking into as Access fans just like Compact have football fans and it would put them in a competitive position with SABC Sport.

A lot of content is based in South Africa, I'm not sure if SuperSport Schools will be added to other countries considering this is SuperSport. It wouldn't be shocking if they did acquire it for these regions and perhaps try to grow the original offering in those regions.

The channel is anticipated to rollout either in the coming weeks or next month which is also a school holiday.

Originally, the series was meant to be serve as a reboot but instead they writers opted for a sequel which will not only address those aspects known to the public, but will explore what happened to the character years after.

The series received both positive and negative reviews from the audience. Sodi's performance was compared to that of Bárbara Mori's from the 2004 adaptation. Luckily, the series managed to obtain good ratings during its run on Univision.

Rubi is set to air daily at 19:05 from April 3rd.

Rubi: The 2004 Classic Telenovela That Won A Lot Of Hearts

As reported a while ago, TLNovelas is planning to rollout the Mexican telenovela Rubi in the coming month and unlike most remakes this one comes as a sequel leaving audiences with several missing pieces but it's a norm with most reboots so travel back to 2004 where it all started.

Rubi follows the titular character described as a beautiful but poor university student who is only interested in money. Her dream is marrying a rich man to leave poverty behind and does whatever it takes to achieve it even if it makes people unhappy.

It stars Bárbara Mori, Eduardo Santamarina, Jacqueline Bracamontes, Sebastián Rulli, Ana Martín, Yadhira Carrillo, Josefina Echánove, Antonio Medellín, Ana Bertha Espín and José Elías Moreno.

Canal de las Estrellas aired Rubí from May 17 to October 22, 2004 with a total of 115 episodes. Univision broadcast Rubí from September 20, 2004 to March 7, 2005, and has named Rubí as the top telenovela of all time.

Rubi became a star in the awards category after bagging Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Telenovela, Best Supporting Actress and Best Musical Theme at the 23rd TVyNovelas Awards and Best Female Protagonist Of The Decade at the Tv Adicto Golden Awards.
