Animated Cartoons For Today’s Youth
Available in over 13 million homes, Nicktoons showcases the world’s best comedy animation. Launched in 2002 and part of the Nickelodeon network of channels, Nicktoons broadcasts the very best in funny cartoons.

Nicktoons (DStv 308) along with Nick Jr (307) launched on 30 September 2014 and since then Nicktoons enhanced its programming line-up starting with Totally Spies in December 2014.

Beginning of 2015 Nicktoons offered a first ever block classic toons battle slot which featured some of its Popular Nicktoons Series like Rugrats, Angry Beavers, The Wild Thornberrys and Hey Arnold! which is getting a two-part movie launching next year and more.

Nicktoons also offered in 2015 Dreamworks Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters Vs Aliens not only that but even the popular and latest series Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks. In November the channel got a whole new look with their two brand new series Get Blake and Winx Club along with the popular series Fairly OddParents (December 2015) with 2 special and is celebrating 15 years of the series.

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa celebrating with content showcases and introduced something new on the channel Nickelodeon's Genius a brand new educational quiz show which encourages kids in maths and sciences in Africa. The series is expected to come in June 2016 as mentioned but the date hasn't exactly been revealed.

During the course of 2016 Nicktoons thrives to offer the best in youth entertainment and hope to evolve during the year with Robot and Monster, Catscratch, KCA 2016, The Mighty B! and its first ever preschool program Peppa Pig in May 2016.

In 2010 Cartoon Network rebranded and 2012-2013 started afresh by cancelling some of their beloved series and focus on new and enriching series which share interest in more boys and few girls. At that time all those who watched Cartoon Network years ago became teens and adults that mourn over the channel while some still watch the channel often like me and keep up-to-date with what's hip and happening.

What To Expect On Discovery Family In April 2016

KIDS ZONE
From Monday, 04 April at 06:00/ 15:10  As part of Discovery Family's Kids Block, the new animated series ‘Doki’ follows seven year-old born explorer Doki and  his best friends Oto, Mundi, Fico, Anabella and Gabi.  Together they make up Team Doki, and the knowledge hungry gang travel the globe and beyond in search of  answers to their many questions! Anything can spark an  expedition amongst this curious bunch, as Doki is  continually struck with great questions about science or  nature. Slinging on their expedition packs, they hop  aboard Oto's vintage float-plane and head off for new adventures. In this series, Doki and his  team land on Komodo Island, Indonesia, to find out if dragons really do exist, before the adventurers get lost in a gold mine in Canada’s Yukon territory. Plus, Team Doki venture to  Egypt on an epic treasure hunt, where they uncover a cache of ancient items. Wherever they  go, it's sure to be a fun and fascinating learning expedition.

Troy may look like an ordinary 24 year-old, but he’s one  of the UK’s most impressive magicians. Explore Troy’s world and watch in awe as he amazes unsuspecting  members of the public. In Camden, we find Troy in a vintage store  handling very expensive glasses and manipulating the  mind of a shop assistant. Next, he sees if fortune cookies  can tell the future as he makes a Chinese food stall  holder choose a cookie to open - with astounding results.  In a pub in East London, a group of girls regret giving  him their picture when he destroys it, but are staggered by what happens next. The finale doesn’t disappoint either - when a passer-by offers to give Troy £5, the magician repays him  in a way that the man and bystanders will never forget. With his distinctive blend of close-up  magic and spectacular stunts, Troy will make jaws drop as he shakes up the magic world.
