As the channel preps up it's launch the crew have been visiting schools, colleges, churches and lounges across South Africa to spread awareness. They even had a session asking youth what they'd hope to see when the channel finally debuts.
Later this month, they are building subcommittees to continue engaging with province and the future endeavours that this platform has in store for future fans.
With regards to programming SA Youth TV intends to have 80% programming produced by the youth of this country but here's what was mentioned from them and other sources so far:
-They will have programs focusing on business development and employment.
-They will have news which touches a lot of things affecting the youth of the country.
-They will broadcast developmental sports tournaments which will make it easy for scouts to recognise young talents in sports without them going there physically.
-They will have reality shows as university lifestyle.
-They will assist script writers but lack resources by lending them resources to so that they can produce quality programming
-Something all channels can't avoid is repeats with SA Youth TV they'll definitely have repeats but try to keep that to a minimum to keep viewers interested in their programming.
