Trollstopia Launches On e.tv Through The Craze Block + eToonz Series The Deep Will Also Be Available On Da Vinci Kids Africa

Poppy returns for a second prequel based on the Trolls franchise

Craze, e.tv's children's block featuring a selection of animation and live-action series alongside movies will be adding yet another DreamWorks Animation production to their lineup in the coming weeks, Trollstopia.

Eager to befriend the new Troll Tribes, Poppy invites ambassadors to visit Troll Village with the hopes that they can live in harmony in a brand new TrollsTopia. But as the Rock Trolls prove to be a bigger challenge, Poppy must find a way to get everyone on the same page.

Trollstopia is based on comedy musical film Trolls which got its own prequel Trolls: The Beats Goes On formerly seen on e.tv and the sequel Trolls World Tour. A third feature film is currently in development and scheduled to be released in 2023.

Trollstopia replaces The Epic Tales Of Captain Underpants on Thursdays at 15:30 from 17 March.

More eToonz is coming to DStv

eToonz is set to go off air by the end of March on DStv as MultiChoice listed the DreamWorks Channel as its successor from March 18th on a different package and channel number.

As mentioned, eToonz makes up 80% NBCUniversal which includes DreamWorks Animation meaning the content currently seen on linear DreamWorks are familiar with viewers. The problem only drops down to that 20%.

The percentage consisted of series such as Power Rangers (Cartoon Network), Pokemon, Peppa Pig (Nick Jr.) and Thomas And Friends (CBeebies). Part of that percentage as indicated has outlets and it looks like more channels will be consuming that 20%.

Da Vinci Kids apparently picked up the rights to the animated series, The Deep which follows a family of adventurous underwater explorers who live aboard a state-of-the-art submarine. While eToonz goes off air this month viewers have to wait another two months from now to see it.
