20th Century Studios, 20th Century Animation, Walt Disney Studios & Disney+ Working On A Third Movie For The Rio Franchise And Seventh Film For Ice Age And Cartoon Network Studio's New Logo Isn't That Bad Despite Getting Mixed Feedback

Disney has more animated features underway for the streaming service

Disney+'s PR Website On The Ice Age Adventures Of Buck Wild was unveiled and there was A PDF called Production Notes and while interviewing the filmakers and unveiling about the director with John C. Donkin (Ice Age Gone Nutty) and writters Ray Delaurentis (Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!) and it was revealed this.

He is currently developing an animated series based on a New York Times best-selling children’s book and writing streaming movies for 20th Century Studios/Disney+.

The feature projects include the next installment in the “Ice Age” franchise, the next installment in the “Rio” franchise and an animated feature version of the “Night at the Museum” movie franchise for 21 Laps Entertainment and Disney+.

Cartoon Network Studios unveiled their new logo

Cartoon Network has always been a channel for change with a new lineup of shows every year to attract an audience. While the shows don't possess the same spark as those seen in the 2000s.

The logo remained consistent over the years but this time that seemingly wasn't the case as seen above. The logo for their studios has changed seeming more comedic which seems to be the new direction for the channel.

Compare the logos you can see the word studios is close to each other aside from the font being changed even the colours of the font and squared box have been inverted.

As much as people resent this logo which will likely be applied to the linear channel I do see this logo as a glimmer of hope for the channel which has been padded with Teen Titans GO! for the past decade.

Cartoon Network is building their family and female skewed offering and this logo kind of fits with their plans for the future. Change is constant and we won't always enjoy it but any change that equals to less TTG is good in my books.

Xtreme Football League Founded By WWE's Very Own Vince McMahon Returns In 2023 And WWE Nearly Sold To FOX

The revived XFL series commence in 2023

Xtreme Football League (XFL) is a professional American football league founded by wrestling executive Vince McMahon in 2018, as a reboot and successor to the league of the same name he founded in 2001.

McMahon re-founded the XFL to create a league with fewer off-field controversies and faster, simpler play compared to the National Football League (NFL), as well as one without the professional wrestling–inspired features and entertainment elements of its predecessor.

The first season of XFL began on February 8, 2020. The league planned to have a ten-week regular season through April 12, with division championships April 18 and 19, with the XFL Championship scheduled for April 26.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the XFL announced that the league would be cancelling the rest of the season, ahead of the league's suspension of operations and bankruptcy filing a month later.

On December 2, 2021, it was revealed on Dany Garcia's Instagram page that the 2023 XFL season would start on February 18, 2023, along with Training Camp in January 2023, as well as a player combine in June 2022.

XFL was distributed by a lot of Disney stations including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 with Fox, FS1, FS2 being retained by the FOX Corporation. Perhaps ESPN or SuperSport will pick up the new season in 2023.

WWE wanted to be purchased several years ago

Ex-WWE creative team member Freddie Prinze Jr told the media that FOX turned down the chance to buy the company outright back when they were negotiating terms to air SmackDown.

According to one of Prinze Jr's friends, who works as an executive at FOX, Vince McMahon's asking price was just too high - the network knocked back the chance to pursue a full purchase, and instead decided to license SmackDown for a still-hefty sum.

There had been chatter back in 2019 about FOX potentially moving to buy WWE, but it's incredible to hear that McMahon was so willing to cede control of his baby. Freddie also said that he'd been sitting on that story for a while, but couldn't resist telling it "because it has been long enough" since FOX were in the running.

Older wrestling fans may still struggle with the thought of Vince selling WWE. There was a time when that seemed impossible, but it's interesting to learn that he has a (rather high) figure in mind for the organisation.

That number was definitely too big for FOX.

The Last FOX Life Which Resides In The United States Ceases Transmission March 31st

Closing in the United States. Notice of the discontinuation of the American iteration of Fox Life was sent to cable providers by Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution in late December 2021; the channel will be discontinued on March 31, 2022, and with it, the final iteration of Fox Life will be wound down.

Fox Life first launched in Italy on 13 May 2003 and was conceived 10 years later in the United States. Internationally, the channel was known for the selection of soaps and region based content while the United States opted for FOX reruns.

Over the years, the channel had started losing sight globally which had a negative impact on their viewership. It wasn't long till several markets announced the discontinuation of the brand including Europe, Africa and Asia.

The United States was one of the last markets to house this brand better yet they are one of the few to carry so many Disney Channels. Now another channel will be put to rest following the closure of ESPN Classic.

The channel didn't offer any original programming therefore there's not much to over while the other stack of programming being FOX repeats can be seen Hulu, the international counterpart Star and the FOX linear channel.

Disney plans to close 100 international channels which include several FOX, National Geographic and Disney Channels. So far the Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Italy and Asia have all led without some if not all these brands with more expected to join in the near future.

Alice's Wonderland Bakery - An Upcoming Series For Disney Junior Based On Whimsical Adventures Of Alice In Wonderland

Disney Junior is baking up something truly special! with Alice’s Wonderland Bakery based on Alice In Wonderland, a fantastical animated series for preschoolers and their families inspired by the beloved world of Alice in Wonderland.

The series centers on Alice, the great-granddaughter of the original heroine and a budding young baker at the enchanted Wonderland Bakery, where treats bring a new generation of characters together.

Each episode of Alice’s Wonderland Bakery will feature two 11-minute stories that detail Alice’s recipe adventures with her best pals—Fergie, a white rabbit; Hattie, her madcap friend; and Rosa, the Princess of Hearts.

The series, which is geared to kids ages 2–7 and their families, will celebrate the culture and creativity of food, highlight self-expression and impart age-appropriate social and emotional lessons about friendship, collaboration and community.

The creative team for Alice’s Wonderland Bakery includes Emmy nominee Chelsea Beyl (Peabody Award-winning Doc McStuffins), who serves as executive producer; Frank Montagna (Elena of Avalor), who is co-executive producer and art director; and Emmy-nominated Nathan Chew (Elena of Avalor) who is supervising director. Emmy winner John Kavanaugh (Sofia the First) is the songwriter/music director, and Matthew Margeson (Rocketman) serves as composer. The series is a production of Disney Television Animation.

Joe D’Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming, and general manager, Disney Junior, announced that the deliciously fantastical animated series is slated to debut February 9th on Disney Junior. “The magic and mischief of Alice in Wonderland has been treasured by millions for over a century, and we are delighted to introduce this version of a young Alice and her charming friends to a whole new generation,” he said. “Inspired by the sense of connection that food brings about—and recipes filled with enchantment and heart—the series will showcase whimsical stories with relatable themes for our Disney Junior audience.”
