Beauty And The Beast follows Devi Chauhan, a woman who is married into a rival family by force. Her husband Adhiraj Rajawat resents her but she manages to win him over and bring out his otherwise hidden kindhearted nature. Otherwise no different to the novel of the same name.

Hailing from a middle-class family, Luck In My Fate tells the story of Lakshmi who is upended when she realises that her marriage to Rishi Oberoi, an industrialist's son, is a sham to keep his death at bay.

Inspired by Casper Scare School, Can You See Me (Bootu) revolves around a friendly girl ghost who always tries to help others, often causing light mischief and mayhem in the process.

Zee World is not only channel launching new series or at least Zee TV soaps. eMedia Investments is launching Blue Venom Girl on eExtra while Dayan, Destructive Beauty is currently streaming on eVOD to join the existing series The Heir, Surrender In Love and Piyaa Albela.

At the moment, there's no definitive date for Beauty And The Beast and Can You See Me but Luck In My Fate is said to air by February 23rd.

S.W.A.T. season 2 and One Day At A Time season 4 airs on e.tv and SABC 3

It seems like e.tv will be rushing to upload new seasons of a recently added series. The sitcoms have adapted to that format even 9-1-1 underwent a same procedure so it only made sense for Hondo and the rest of the team to have their vacation cut short.

One Day At A Time returns to SABC 3 for a fourth season immediately after the second season of the Canadian sitcom, Kim's Convenience.

S.W.A.T.
On the first episode of season two titled Shaky Town the team attempt to arrest a known leader of a human-trafficking ring but run into complications caused by an earthquake. Meanwhile, Street struggles with mending fences with the team whilst also adjusting to being a patrol officer rather than S.W.A.T.

One Day At A Time
On the first episode of the fourth season titled Checking Boxes, Elena talks to her mother about the importance of the census for the Latinx community. Penelope tries going on dates again after the census makes her question her stance on being a single mother for the rest of her life.

M-Net is currently three seasons ahead of e.tv when it comes to S.W.A.T. which is scheduled to air immediately after Magnum Pi weekdays at 20:30 from 31 January. One Day At A Time airs on SABC 3 from 28 January at 18:30.

In other news, e.tv's other channels like eExtra and Rewind will be adding three shows to their schedule: Blue Venom Girl (new series), Till The End Of Time and Dare To Love.

Farewell Miss Polo, hello popular demands

Telemundo introduced Case Closed in the mist of the pandemic. Miss Polo managed to grace viewer's with her wits and determine and the cases made viewers come back for more.

Now all ends from 31st January, instead of viewers getting previous episodes of Case Closed. Telemundo switches things up by adding another repeat to the schedule which is known other than the anthology series, Decisions.

The series has been used as a placeholder whenever a program ended before the week concluded but with Case Closed's situation. The switch happens on Monday and if I had to guess something is coming soon.

One of those things could be Coffee With A Woman's Fragrance (also known as The Scent Of Passion) and the other a potential schedule adjustment seeing that Labour Of Love, The Price Of Fame and The Search For Frida are ending and Nurses launching on the channel.

Perhaps these changes will lead Case Closed to move to a much earlier timeslot.

Baby TV Could Be The Next Channel From The Walt Disney Company To Go Off Air In Africa Following Its Closure In Some Parts Of Asia

During the new year, there's been multiple reports of Disney closing down several channels for viewers in the US, UK and Latin America with some parts of Asia joining the list with closures of National Geographic and Baby TV.

As reported last year, MultiChoice had signed an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to keep the factual and wildlife brands National Geographic and National Geographic Wild, the sports brands ESPN 1 & 2 and the kids brands Disney Channel and Disney Junior functional on their platforms until 2024.

Baby TV is not available on their platforms but rivals like StarTimes making it an easier target for The Walt Disney Company.

- Possible terminations and additions on DStv

In 2003, Baby TV began as a block in the UK offering educational and fun content for toddlers before expanding in the form of a linear channel by 2005. Although it's not on DStv, the SABC does offer it as a programming block as seen in the UK.

In March 2019, the channel was acquired by The Walt Disney Company as part of the deal with 20th Century for their assets which included a set of FOX linear channels as well as their studios even National Geographic.

Since then, The Walt Disney Company launched their streaming service Disney+ consolidating content from these linear channels as they've begun shutting them down with more expected to join as the plan is to close 100 international channels.

Baby TV's programming is not part of Disney+ the likely reason is that the content might be licensed by other studios or The Walt Disney Company doesn't see any value in the brand.

Following the acquisition, all their other brands went through several adjustments while this one remained unscathed not to mention outdated for most of its existence with The Walt Disney Company.

As mentioned, the channel closed down in some parts of Asia alongside India. The providers in that market had to source an alternative brand which carried their own set of content with Africa likely resorting to the same measures if the provider deems a replacement necessary.
