HBO Max working on Kevin Hart animated project

HBO Max is developing music-infused adult animated comedy Storytown, from Kevin Hart’s HartBeat and Michael D. Ratner’s OBB Pictures.

In Storytown, which is doing an animatic presentation as part of the development process, when a grandson starts causing trouble in the streets, his grandfather begins to share life lessons he learned growing up with rapping fairytale characters in a place called Storytown.

Macaulay Culkin Preps Middle-Aged Travel Series

Macaulay Culkin recently turned 40 and he’s celebrating the occasion with a travelogue about becoming middle-aged.

Culkin famously starred in Home Alone and its sequel as well as films such as My Girl, The Good Son and Richie Rich before taking a break from acting. He returned in 2003 with a spot on Will & Grace and feature Party Monster and more recently in FX’s American Horror Story. He also founded The Pizza Underground, which parodied The Velvet Underground with pizza-themed songs.

Another animated film returns in live-action format

A live-action adaptation of the classic animated film “The Aristocats” is in early development at Disney.

The original 1970 film follows a family of aristocratic cats — mother Duchess and her three kittens Berlioz, Marie and Toulouse — living a luxurious life in Paris. But when their owner’s butler finds out that the cats are set to receive a massive fortune, he kidnaps them and abandons them in an unfamiliar land — the country. The aristocats then must befriend an alley cat, named Thomas O’Malley, to help them get home before the butler steals what is rightfully theirs.

Netflix picks up Iron Chef for a new season

As most fans of the show know, there hasn't been a new episode of "Iron Chef America" since 2018. The Food Network canceled the culinary game show after a successful 13 seasons on air, leaving viewers with only reruns to get their "Iron Chef " fix. But later this year, the show is getting a reboot on Netflix, the streaming platform officially announced on their website. The new series will be called "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend" and is confirmed for an eight-episode run.

Instead of continuing where season 13 left off, Netflix explains that the series will be "reborn with a supersized approach." Much like the original, world-class chefs will compete against each other in culinary challenges that put their skills and creativity to the test. In the reboot however, this will take place in a "reimagined Kitchen Stadium." Then in the season finale, the highest scoring Challenger Chef will compete in a final challenge to be named not just the "Iron Chef," but the "Iron Legend."

Earthworm Jim

January's Viewership Stats For Glow TV Raises Even More Suspicion Regarding Its Sudden Termination From The Openview Platform + Zee World And Star Life's Stats Are Included Inside

Viewership stats for the weeks of 20 - 26 January are out for Zee World, Star Life and Glow TV. Through these stats, you can clearly see Zee World pulls in the most punches outside of reruns compared to the other two despite being accessible on Openview.

Zee World's viewership stats goes as follows:

Twist Of Fate (Rerun) - 1.4
King Of Hearts (Rerun) - 1.2
My Heart Knows - 2.0
These Streets - 1.6
I Do - 1.9
Twist Of Fate - 2.4
Once There Was A King - 2.1

Total: 10 million (12,6 million if it includes reruns)

- Mismatched was the most watched show better yet the only thing keeping the channel afloat with its dismal viewership.
- The Insolent Heart was the least watched show of course it wouldn't be a big deal but imagine a repeat such as Geet having more views than a new show.
- None of their programs are sitting in the 2 and to some extent 3 million tile yet Mismatched broke all the laws of physics with their 3.9 million (4 million) views.
- The only channel with less repeated programming.

Dokter Ali (Mucize Doktor) tells the story of a man with savant syndrome, who grew up in orphanages, graduated from the faculty of medicine with first degree. Then he starts to work in a private hospital as an assistant surgeon.

In season 2, Ali is shown in a courtroom being trialled for the alleged murder of his patient. Then, the show flashes back to 15 days prior, breaking down what actually happened and setting the tone for the rest of the thrilling episode.

Believe it or not the pandemic forced an early ending to the first season and it was fortunate enough to get a season 2. In an interview, the lead couple Ali Vefa (Taner Ölmez) and Nazli (Sinem Ünsal) revealed that the show has some great episodes lined up for season 2 as mentioned above.

Season 2 will air on the 18th of April, it hasn't been clarified whether it will be added to eVOD in advance as the show was exclusive to that streaming service or whether they'll do a simultaneous premiere.

Dokter Ali is not the only series returning in the year on the channel even Doodsondes will be back for its fourth installment of course a date has yet to be released but it will likely replace Wrede Stad as season 2 takes up Kurt En Shura.

New Series Alert: La Doña Coming Soon To StarTimes While Telemundo Africa Welcomes The Next Popular Demand The Boss

Telemundo, Africa's most beloved Spanish language entertainment destination home to the very best telenovelas such as Corazón Valiente (Fearless Heart) and Mi Corazon Insiste En Lola Volcan (Mi Corazon En Insiste Lola Volcan) have partnered up with StarTimes to introduce a fan favorite, La Doña (Iron Rose).

Based on the 1929 novel known as Doña Barbara, La Doña takes a modern twist revolving around Altagracia Sandoval a beautiful, elegant, successful woman, recognized in society and owner of an emporium in the construction world. Just as a young girl, she suffered two very strong traumas that marked her and made her the unforgiving "Doña" she is now.

Aracley Arambula is the antagonistic protagonist in the first season of La Doña accompanying the fellow damsel is David Chocarro, Danna Paola, José María Galeano, Diego Saldano and Leo Deluglio.

From February 15th, the History channels owned by A+E Networks in Latin America will undergo a makeover aligning their logos with the main market and making them the first to do so.

According to Miguel Brailovsky, the premiere of a new look in is part of a brand new visual concept for viewers. Innovative design makes direct reference to brand positioning. The new logo will be the axis of renewal, which holds its traditional golden H and presents a link that linking past, future and history.

The logo is built with a H sans-serif (with a more modern morphology representing the past) inside a H serif (more light and contemporary representing the future). The result of the new graphic package seeks to reflect the brand with an innovative vision, close to the audience and flexible to changing needs of digital platforms and all screens.

There's no indicator if this will occur in other markets particularly Europe where some markets on top of closing Lifetime haven't updated the channel's logos since its introduction in 2020. All I know is that the parent company has been an absolute mess.

In 2019, they got into a carriage dispute with MultiChoice and things haven't been the same for the company since then. The brand was so open with new content and now it just feels like they've thrown in the towel. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if the company was auctioned off.

According to sources, Wrede Stad will now air at 14:55 instead of 21:50 on eExtra from February 12th. The timeslot was currently reserved for the Indian horror Blue Venom Girl.

Through an updated guide provided later in the week, Blue Venom Girl will move to Wrede Star previous timeslot 21:50 perhaps to appease viewers as the current format is mostly filled with Bollywood series on a platform where Glow TV, Star Life and Zee One exist.

Novela E Plus, a Filipino entertainment channel currently available on StarSat are set to launch the second season of the highly anticipated series Brothers (Ang Probinsyano).

Following the abrupt ending of the first season, viewers got into a brawl with the channel. As stated by Novelas E Plus, the series aired in its entirety with repeats on the StarTimes ON app or St Novelas E.

In the second season of Brothers, Tomas Tuazon is revealed as the head of the drug syndicate Cardo battles. Don Emilio Syquia gets fed up with Tomas taking control of the drug syndicate for himself and orchestrates events that would pit Cardo against Tomas.

The second debuts March 21st while the Phillipines are currently in the ninth season of Brothers meaning viewers in Africa are behind by 7 seasons.

Love, Victor comes to an end on Hulu

In distressing proof that nothing pure lasts forever, Love, Victor is signing off for good. Hulu announced during this week’s Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour that the upcoming third season of beloved gay teen drama will be its last.

The series will conclude with the June 15 release of all eight episodes of season 3. The series, written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, began as a spin-off of the 2018 Greg Berlanti-produced film Love, Simon, based on Becky Albertalli’s YA novel. Love, Simon was the first gay teen rom-com to be released by a major Hollywood studio.

Chris Evans and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson join forces for new Amazon film, RedOne

Chris Evans and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be starring together in the upcoming Amazon film Red One. Red One is set to be a globe-trotting holiday comedy film, leaning into a genre which Johnson has been finding success in between his
Jumanji films and the recent Netflix title Red Notice . Jake Kasdan, who directed the two new Jumanji films, will be directing Red One and it is a project being an original vision from Seven Bucks President of Production Hiram Garcia . Red One is written by well-known Fast & Furious scribe Chris Morgan.

Red One is expected to release for the holiday of 2023. Kasdan will also serve as a producer on the film with Morgan, as well as Seven Bucks' Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia. Previously, Seven Bucks and Kasdan's partnership on Jumanji films lead to massive box office successes through a pair of films which will lead into a third effort together.

India’s Toonz Media Group is teaming up with Christian and Yvon Tremblay to produce a new show inspired by the brothers’ classic animated series SWAT-KATS. The reboot, entitled SWAT-KATS Revolution , will target kids ages five to 11 and feature a host of new characters battling evil alongside the brand’s beloved feline fighters.
