Twist Of Fate (Kumkum Bhagya) has been on air for the past 7 years on Zee World (8 years in India) which followed the ups and downs of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's characters Pragya Arora Mehra and Abhishek "Abhi" Mera. The pair are set to exit the franchise with the fate of their characters up in the air.
As reported through several outlets, Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia have called it quits with the eighth season revolving on one of their daughters Prachi Arora Kohli who is played by Mugdha Chaphekar and her husband Ranbir Kohli who is played by Krishna Kaul.
Their exit gives them time to put focus on other projects as reported through other outlets, Shabir Ahluwalia is said to be a protagonist in a new love story for Colors TV which will be produced by Ishq Mein Marjawan's (currently seen on Glow TV as A Love To Die For) Yash Patnaik.

There's so many characters in the show and with the new leads it would be pretty impossible to juggle two complicated love stories.
Twist Of Fate was produced by Balaji Telefilms which is responsible for the show's two spinoffs This Is Fate (Kundali Bhagya) and Zee World's upcoming series Luck In My Fate (Bhagya Lakshmi) which is rumoured to replace Twist Of Fate on Zee World later in the year.
