A Facebook Page Known As e.tv Entertainment Has Surfaced The Net

As we reach the end of the first quarter of the year, eMedia Investments has yet to welcome any new additions on the Openview platform. Since the news of Ultraview, consumers have been feeling sidelined especially after the removal of Glow TV.

Yesterday, a user on Facebook had come across a page known as e.tv Entertainment and not much is available except for the profile picture and the description which credits Openview consumers.

There's chances that this could be a fan/spam page or quite contrary a yet-to-be-launched channel which can only be viewed on the Openview platform as the description currently entails.

A reason this could be fake has to do with the brand name, e.tv Entertainment as it kind of resembles NBCUniversal's E! Entertainment and that was one of the reasons the eNews Channel on the DStv platform was shortened to simply eNCA.

But then again eNews brand name has been running segments on e.tv even after that and one of the Openview Ultra's yet-to-be-launched channel, Star Select is a trademark for sports channels on StarSat so another reason this could be real.

As mentioned, not much details is known about the brand but should it be real my guess is pop-up channel as seen with Power Up! or perhaps a revival to the Rewind brand which got replaced with eXposed back in 2022 featuring selected content from eMedia's channels.
